It's been ridiculously long since I've posted (especially about the bathroom which is now finished!) but things have been busy at the Lucas household. In fact, I write this post from Ryan's cubicle at Cox while I wait for him to help tote Molly's gifts to our car. His coworkers threw a surprise (for him) shower for us today and it was so much fun because he had no idea! I finally got to put faces with the names I know so well and we got some fabulous outfits and some wonderfully practical things. I made Ryan open the gifts, since he hasn't had that pleasure at the other showers, and we munched on yummy fingerfoods and talked for awhile.
In other news, we got a new weight estimate on Monday...9 lbs 6 oz at 37 weeks!! Needless to say I'm hoping labor will start any minute now! Her kidney/bladder condition seems to be staying the same as of now. We got to see her hair and she shot us an unmistakable peace sign right at the end! Can't wait to meet the little thing!
I do have pictures of the bathroom that I will atempt to post in the next day or so. It turned out great and we are so grateful that we were able to get such a big project accomplished before Molly's arrival. We don't know what to do with ourselves now that Steve and Keith aren't a daily fixture in our lives:) Since the completion of the tub we've been scrubbing down walls, dusting light fixtures, washing baseboards...I could go on forever! Our house is finally (almost) back to normal just with a bigger, better bathroom!
