Last Day B.C.!

Our morning began with a visit from MiMi and Pop. What a treat! They brought Molly a singing, stacking toy and a basket of produce both of which she found totally entertaining.

MiMi and Pop headed back home and the three of us headed for an afternoon nap. Later in the day we sat in the front yard and just enjoyed being outside for a bit.

Ryan started spinning his ring on the floor and Molly rolled around after it for a long time.

They tell me something's wrong with that hip but I just don't see it! Looks like two perfect little legs to me;)!

We saved time for lots of nudity that evening!

And then? The world's longest bath...

Man, she loves this!

What?! No more baths for six weeks??!!

We love you Molly and we're gonna get you all fixed up tomorrow! I'm gonna miss all those delicious rolls!

My Old Kentucky Home

I'm trying to catch up on some posts here to get things up to speed so there'll be a little less talk and a lot more pictures.

Before we found out about Molly's DDH we had planned a visit to my parents in Georgetown, Kentucky over the fourth. Once her surgery was scheduled for the sixth we decided to go through with the trip. It was gorgeous there--sunny, breezy and beautiful every day. Dad has a (well, three) beautiful garden(s) this year and he took Molly for a tour:

This past week I dressed Molly exclusively in clothing that I knew wouldn't fit once cast time rolled around. Here she is looking like a Cupie doll in her overalls.

On the way back home we stopped in Knoxville to see Grandma Dot. Molly enjoyed showing off her tongue-clicking trick for Dot Dot.

Molly even took a few stabs at saying "Dot Dot" before we left.

We left there at 9 and made it to Kara's in time for John's fantastic fireworks show at 10. It was so good to see Wyatt and Jonah. Molly gets a kick out of them!

Molly held on tight during the fireworks. She was torn between hiding her face at the loud noises and peeking to see the pretty display.

We drove home that night and Molly, as always, was so ready to sleep in her own bed. Good times:)
