I have a few pictures left from the hospital...a week late. I'll run through them quickly with you so I can catch this thing up.
Here's Molly in her Rhino brace. I was worried that she would have a hard time adjusting to the brace after having the cast off but after the first time we put it on her she's never had a problem with it! In fact, it probably gives her a sense of security and normalcy.
Emily brought by a yummy dinner Friday night and an Abby Cadabby balloon for Molly to hang out with.On Saturday there was a team of visiting dogs to "The Zone", the children's entertainment area. We missed the program but caught the dogs on their way out and the owners were so sweet to let Molly get up close and personal with Daisy and Oscar
Here's Oscar. Molly gets so excited about dogs and says the word over and over again when she sees one but once she's face to face she hangs on for dear life! If only she'd gotten to meet Melody:(
After bidding farewell to the dogs we headed down to The Zone to make a few crafts with some medical students. Here's Molly's turkey headband:

Here she is picking out the feathers for her hand turkey:
The Zone has tons of video game consoles for older kids and a theater with comfy chairs and a big screen and projector. The wallpaper is a crowd at a Garth Brooks concert. Garth is on the other wall along with his handwritten message and signature.

Molly's hospital Thanksgiving crafts:
Here's about the worst of M's skin issues after cast three. Of course this is 3 days later after numerous Aquafor applications but her skin was really in excellent condition considering! You can see the lower crease looks completely healed.
Her first footie pajamas...
The last night her IV went bad and when they went to put another one in it took them a NICU IV team and an ultrasound and they still couldn't find a good vein. They tried another four times before giving up. The doctor went ahead and put her on a strong oral med and decided to observe her for the next 24 hours. That night, with no obstuction on her arms or legs, we put her in some footie pjs. She spent the rest of her waking minutes trying to get the "footie" part off her feet.
We've been home now almost a week and things are going so well. Big developments to be made tomorrow with a VCUG and Tuesday with the big urology appointment to discuss surgery. Thank you for your prayers. We are thankful.
