Well, today little Jack is 3 weeks old yet I still haven't even posted pics from our time in the hospital. He's changed so much! There are so many pics I want to share with you so I'm gonna keep this post long on pics and short on words...
Jack and Daddy
Jack and Mommy
Jack and his MiMi meet
Jack meets his Pop
Jack and his Granddaddy
Jack and his Grandma
The most anticipated meeting of the day:
Ryan left to pick up Molly from Karma's house after we were settled in our room. We both couldn't wait to witness our first baby meet our second! She squealed and giggled and said "Jack!". In face, that's how she greets him always, even three weeks later:)
She acted as if he'd always been a part of our family (and soon she'll never remember that he wasn't)
She brought him a little brother onesie and monkey wraps for his carseat. And he gave her a baby doll stroller with carseat and fully loaded diaper bag. She was upset that he couldn't ride in it.:
Saying goodbye for now before leaving for a nap:
First extended eye sighting:
On their way back in that evening, MiMi, Pop, and Molly stopped by the nursery to see Jack get his first bath:
My favorite pic of the lot. My sweet new family. All together and quiet like.
A basket of sustenance from MiMi:
The next morning...:
Molly was definitely ready to see her baby brother again!
Ha ha...I love the faces that were caught in the next picture. Like mother, like daughter much??
Meeting his Aunt Karma for the first time:
Aunt Karma and Uncle Mark checking out his super cool hair:
Another pic of the ever-elusive newborn eyes:
Karma returned that evening bearing dinner and...
...Aunt Kara with her!
The next morning:
So here's that super cool hair I talked about:
Passing the time with Granddaddy:
Too cool for school:
On day 3 we'd been given the okay to go home but Jack had to pee first (post-circ). We were ready to go at two and the child didn't pee until SEVEN O'CLOCK! I think he was just reminding us who's in charge. Luckily, we found Lady and the Tramp on TV:
And then this little lady fell fast asleep:
She perked up a little bit after the extra special wheelchair ride outside:
It was short-lived:
And finally here's our little guy all strapped in and ready to head home for the first time:
Since Molly stayed in the hospital a full week after birth we missed out on the grandparent escort home but Dad was there to document Jack's homecoming:
And that's what I'll pick up with next time...I leave you with our new normal:)

He is absolutely PRECIOUS! These are the first pictures I've seen of the little guy and I love him! The pictures where Molly is seeing Jack for the first time are beyond adorable and they made me cry. You and Ryan are so blessed!! We will try our hardest to come and visit you guys soon! Love you!
