Harvesting (boxes & fun)

This is what our house looks like right now...

Not just our living room....our WHOLE HOUSE!  Our attic has gotten so disorganized that it's just not usable space (and if you knew just how scarce our storage is you 'd know that every bit of it needs to be "usable").  So, on Molly's last weekend of immobility we decided to take everything out of the attic, put boards up to make the most of the square footage, go through every box to make sure it all needs to go back up there, and put it all back up in an orderly fashion...we just haven't gotten to the "put it all back up" part yet because we decided to have some evening fun instead.

Our church's harvest festival was tonight so at 3 o'clock we dropped everything, showered and put Molly in her Halloween get-up for the event.  I present to you, Olivia Newton Lucas circa "Physical":

She's supposed to have weights on her bar (that's why it's all chromed out) but remember...the attic.  But hey, she does a mean split and at least her treat-collecting boombox came to fruition.

Once inside we ran into a few of M's friends, Minnie Mouse (Ella) and Superman (Andrew).

Don't the three of them just look so excited to be there?!  (Despite how it looks, EBC puts on a great time, I promise!)

After the festival we headed on over to Ally's house for some seriously lip-smackin' BBQ and more Halloween fun.  I didn't get a whole lot of pictures but I'll share what I did get...

 Molly was intrigued but a little tentative with the pumpkin guts.  At least she got to actually see a pumpkin...we haven't bought the first one this year!

I'm glad we ditched the mess for the fun this evening.  Perhaps the mess will be rectified...hmm...tomorrow.  Goodnight.  Zzzzz.
