This past Saturday Maggi Faith turned a whole year old! Let me take you back to last year on that same day... (or go HERE)
It was Friday, mid-morning, and I had arrived after "the call" from Karma saying it was time! On the left, the last picture of the Scardino Family of Five and on the right pregnant sisters...didn't know it then but I was just under 6 weeks from delivery. Interesting tidbit...I just sat here thinking through the grandchildren on the Roach side of the family...7 out of 7 pregnancies have overlapped! It's amazing just how much things change in a year. Just look at this blue-eyed-beauty now!!!
Lots of people came to celebrate. There was of course the Scardino Six and then Granny and Papos, Uncle Timmy and Aunt Charlotte were in town and got to come, then Uncle Ryan, Molly and I were there and Mr. Mike and Mrs. Sandra came too!
Maggi's birthday delight was delicious Nutter Butter Banana Pudding:
Here's the tail end of the birthday song. There were so many singers there it sounded like a choir!:
Feeding herself with a utensil for the very first time:
She was totally into it!
mmm mmm good:)
The older and wiser siblings look on:
Sophi stepped in a few times to show her how it's done.
But Maggi proved she was fully capable on her own!
She sure didn't mind all the attention!
Showing her appreciation for the scrumptious birthday dessert (notice the shoulder dimples on the two of them! So cute!!):
The birthday entertainment was provided by Sammy and Marci.
And boy was it entertaining!
Molly watching her cousins perform:
She was thrilled with her goody bag! She had so much fun taking everything out and the hit of the night for Molly and Maggi were some cute little monkey bowls and spoons from the goody bags.
Talk about changing in a year. Marci will be 6 in just one month!
And Sammy, who just turned 7, is so grown up and truly a great big brother to three little girls!
What a happy girl! Playing with Daddy (and the monkey bowl I was talking about)!
Maggi rounded out the night with a spin in her new wagon from G-ma and G-daddy. She loved it! And one thing's for sure...she's got plenty of people to push her around:)
Happy Birthday to YOU sweet little Maggi Pie!!!
Love all these and makes me downright sad to have missed it...Happy Bday Maggi! And...love the bday song and all the closeups of the bday girl.
