Back in July Ryan and I braved our very first trip with two children. We went to Mississippi to visit MiMi and Pop. And not only did we make the trip, we did it spontaneously. Like, we were at the hospital that morning getting an ultrasound done on Jack, went to lunch, talked about how we could just go to Mississippi, and that evening at 5 we were on our way. I'm glad we went. It was a great visit. But if I had known what would transpire on the way to and from??!! I woulda stayed at HOME! I finally have an understanding of why it takes my sister and her family of 6 an extra hour or two to get places...UGH! And what's more troubling is that it wasn't the 1 month old's fault...it was the 2 year old. Anyway, enough about that. Here's the visit...

Here's one of my favorites from the trip. Jack got to meet his MawMaw and PawPaw Sellers while we were there and he even looked at the camera to get his picture made with them!:

The real reason for the trip though was to let Jack go on his first blind date. Her name was Finley. They were chaperoned.
