The Cat's Meow

Well, the partying did not stop on Saturday.  Oh no.  On Sunday after church we made our way over to Karma's to meet up for a cat gathering in honor of Marci's 8th birthday (which was August 29th).  Karma had some yarn and knitting needles set out o welcome all the guests:

In addition to all the family, Marci had some friends come home after church to get in on the fun:

A basket o' cats and a clever wrapping paper tablecloth:

My favorite is the icing yarn ball (ummm, and the chocolate chippety goodness):

And there was plenty of cat food to be had.  Here are some goldfish and cat cookies served a la cat in a cat dish!:

The napkin presentation was quite eye CAT-ching as well:

Marci made up all the party games herself.  First was Pin the Spot on the Cheetah with a marvelous cheetah drawn by Marci herself:

 Then we played Name That Cat.  See how well you do...:

 And here's Pass the Cat.  Everyone has a bowl of "cat food" and if you're holding the cat when the music stops you eat a cookie.:

There were 8 candles to blow out this year.  She's growing up fast!:

Marci gave her guests catnip bundles to take with them:

It was so fun to have Kara and the boys in town for the weekend.  Jack got to spend some time with his Aunt Kara.  He was loving it!:
