Day 1-Demo

So day 1 was yesterday and we already see improvement! They've stripped the walls of all tile, taken down the window casing, removed the door (which will later be replaced with a pocket door to maximize floor space), gotten rid of the sink, taken down the moldy drywall surrounding the tub (yay!), and knocked down the walls of Ryan's former closet so you can see straight through to Molly's room.

And here's what it looked like after they were through today. Thankfully we still have the ever-important toilet!:

The pocket door will be sandwiched in this wall and a vanity sink will go in Ryan's closet:

As you can see they had to remove a good bit of drywall around the tub where the mold had eaten through. I really prefer this to the "before" picture I posted!:

Well they should be here any minute to start day 2. I'm off to Karma's to take a shower!
