Days 12 and 13 (and the beginning of today, day 14)

Keith and Steve finished grouting the shower on Friday and I love it! I was wondering how our grout choice would turn out on the wall and I was pleasantly surprised. We chose a gray, "delorian gray" to be exact, so that it would be easier to keep clean and looking good. We're using the same color on the floor. In the picture I think it may come across a bit institutional or something but in reality I think it has a very clean, modern but classic look.

Closer up on the grout color:

We officially do not have a toilet anymore as of about 2 hours ago!

Um, gross and good riddance!

I'm not sure what they're doing right now but I know it's stinky...smells like a Sharpie factory out there so I'm nice and enclosed in the the music room with my own air unit for now. Luckily, now we have plenty of fabulous new windows that open with ease for good ventilation!

BEFORE AFTER
They came and replaced all of our windows on Friday. They were here at 7:30 and gone by noon...it was quick! We've already noticed that it's much quieter--not as much noise from the parkway anymore and our house cools down more quickly too! I can't wait for it to be a 70 degree day where we can just open 'em all up! Above is an idea of the before and after. (That's all the pictures I have access to right now.) If you click on the pictures they will enlarge for you to get a better look.
More later...
