Happy Birthday Mollypop!

What a big day today was!  I'm tired and I don't have the time or energy left to convey my feelings of pure pride and joy adequately so you'll have to settle for a strict picture story of the days events with bits of commentary in between:)

Here's our happy birthday girl at breakfast with that silly hat her mom made her wear:
"Girl, you got a strawberry on your head"
Digging her festive curly ribbon headband:
Time for a morning gift:
"The 50th anniversary Little People commemorative dollhouse tin w/ family and bonus Little People birthday DVD!!!  How did you know???!!!"
She is seriously in love with these little people!

We're ready for school, Mom:
Molly had a wonderful day at school.  Her birthday onesie and curly ribbon headband gave her away and she was catching birthday greetings left and right.  Later in the day I went to peek in on her and there was a giant birthday cake hug balloon tied to her stroller!  Card read: I LUV YOU <3 ALLY  What a wonderful birthday surprise!  After that she really couldn't lie about her age;)

Molly reading her mail from Grandma Dot-Dot:
One big dollar for one big one-year-old:

The hit of the evening was the little blue walker wagon.  She immediately took the wrapped presents out of it so that she could put her little people (and a carrot) in for a ride.
Busy, busy:
She was completely uninterested with the wrappings but thrilled to get that hammer out!
Hammering out danger, warning, and love between her brothers and her sisters:
Highlight of the evening:
This is the face she made right after she ROLLED OVER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HER CAST!!!!!  Here it is the SECOND TIME.  In your words "WOW" Molly you're something else!

I leave you with a few more videos from the evening.  Molly will have her fill of cake at her party on Saturday but this evening her special treat was "spoon" feeding herself with a nifty utensil from Aunt Kara.  She's sitting a bit too low at the table to do it well but she had a blast anyway!  And here's part II.  Thanks to Ryan for uploading the videos and putting up all the captions tonight:)  There are actually two more that haven't processed fully so I'll have to link to those tomorrow.  Here they are...herehere, and a grandparent favorite from about a week ago.  So much more to say but I'm pooped!  How bout we stretch out this birthday thing another evening...

Happy birthday, Molls!  You're the best...seriously.
