If you've ever been to our house you know of the honking air intake that takes up nearly all the width and most of the length of our bitty hallway. Once I knew it couldn't be removed I'd always thought of it as built in babyproofing. Melody (our good ol' dog) used to go to great lengths to avoid the vent. Ryan and I have perfected our own methods of dodging the grate. Even in sleepy, middle-of-the-night mode. Therefore I knew that it would be a baby deterent...right? Wrong. Molly plows on through the hallway as if it weren't even there. In fact, if anything, it speeds her up because she can grasp the grate and pull herself on across like she's scaling a cliff or something. It's certainly not a delicate process...her turtle shell is clunk-clunk-clunking all the way. I see baby gates in our near future...
Hats on and headed out for a Saturday morning breakfast:
Keeping an eye out for authority:
I've been spotted:
Half of our time at home is spent getting curious little bodies "unstuck":
Playing her crossover piece:
What'd ya think of that one, Mom?
A natural:
I finally took the time to personalize Molly's spica table a couple of weeks ago but just took the time to actually take a picture the other day. (The before is at the end of this post)
She's eating all kinds of things now and the process just keeps getting messier. Oh joy. Oh well.
Practicing for the cowboy festival:
I leave you now with a picture from a few Sundays back. She's wearing a dress that I wore as a baby! A little pink one with a rosebud pinafore. Her hair gets longer and longer every morning it seems. What a sweet baby girl:)
