So this morning I had my first post-op appointment with the podiatrist and here's what we got to see (it's kinda gross so only scroll down if you don't mind!):

And here's a front view. My foot has gone back down closer to its regular size. Before the surgery it was nearly twice the normal size:
They put my boot back on and said I could return to work tomorrow if I felt like it...which I do. I feel way better than before the surgery. I'll go back on next Monday and then at my third visit it will be time for him to take the stitches out and then I will finally be able to get it wet. He was pleased with how it's healing so far.

It looks so much better! Oh my goodness, I'm sure you are beyond glad that this is all over with. Whew! Your incision isn't that bad!! I should have shown you my incisions/staples/grossness when I broke my leg and ankle. HOLY crap - now THAT was disgusting. It doesn't help that I hadn't shaved my legs and it looked like a sasquatch was living in my cast. I'm not sure why I just put that - you have a lot of people who read your blog. Well, news flash, Blog Readers - I don't always shave my legs. :) LOVE YOU and I'm so glad the surgery went well!!
